Dissertation Formation

Text alignment

Alignment refers to the arrangement of the text on the page in dissertation methodology  and formation papers. The most recommendable alignment style is justified (the text fills the entire space within the margins), although the cover is expected to have a center alignment.

Font style & Size

Now, talking about the font style in dissertation paper, the massive use of certain software have extended the use of Arial font for writing, thinking incorrectly, that it is the easiest to read or simply the best ever. Nothing could be farther from reality. According to the experts in typography and lettering, the truth is that Arial is just a bad copy of a recognized font called Helvetica. Therefore, sources that are recommended for readability really important texts are called Roman prisoners, for example, Garamond, Old Book, Century or Times New Roman. These fonts are designed to attach the letters that make up the words causing eyes to flow easily from one point to another. The font size should be 12 in dissertation document.

All caps
The all caps (all text in upper case) should only be used in the following cases in your dissertation paper:

a) For the elements of the cover (although it is optional)
b) Evidence of the preliminary elements (table of contents, acknowledgments, etc.)
c) Reference
d) Top-level titles.
